Many of Loreena McKennitt’s songs take their cue from literature, like “Dante’s Prayer,” “The Lady of Shallot,” and Penelope’s Song, and Enya has several for “Lord of the Rings.” Oh, “Wuthering Heights” by Kate Bush is still one of my favorites. And then there’s the classic rock “White Rabbit” by Jefferson Airplane.
Wow, I hadn't heard any of these! I definitely got that ethereal feel that Enya excels at with these (minus "White Rabbit"!). Thanks so much for putting more music on my radar! :D
