I love quotes! When I was younger I watched a movie where the main character kept a book of quotes and I always wanted to make my own. I never did (the closest I came was maintaining a bullet journal for a while where I occasionally wrote quotes), but I guess it’s never too late to start!

I’m not a huge reader of fantasy, so I’ve never read Gaiman. These quotes are really making me want to check out his work, though! Is there any book in particular you would suggest I start with?

I'm so glad! :D Ooh, that sounds like such a neat concept for a character! I started my first bullet journal this year with a list of quotes to "live by" this year, but keeping a blank page to fill up would be a great idea!

Ooh, I would absolutely suggest starting with Good Omens; it's arguably my first ever favorite book of all time and the first book I recommend to anyone in general :) I'd say it's the funniest and most charming of his work (also partially because it's co-written by Terry Pratchett, who is tremendously funny), so that'd be a good starting point.

(Gaiman also wrote the TV adaptation of Good Omens, which I'd highly recommend as well.) If you're interested in mythology, you could also try his "Norse Mythology" retelling.
